Private Event Information

What does a private event include?
It can be goat yoga or it can just be goats! We’ve done birthday parties and social events where we just bring goats to visit and we’ve done large and small scale goat yoga classes at senior facilities, schools, and backyards.
If you are wanting to do goat yoga, we will need to coordinate with an instructor. The goat yoga classes are 45 minutes of yoga based on the skill level your group prefers and then 15 minutes after for pictures, making the event 1 hour.

We bring yoga mats for up to 30 people and goat treats for all participants.
How many people can participate?

There really is no cap, but there are things to keep in mind. We can only supply yoga mats for up to 30 people. We also are only bringing 4 goats, so any more than 30 and participants may not get adequate time with the goats. If wanting a large event, it may be best to split sessions into 2 classes.
How many goats can you bring?
We typically bring about 3-4 goats. Though we do not have any baby goats, all of our goats are miniature goats. They are less than 50 lbs each. This can vary based on the size of the event and the space provided. Cost may vary depending on how many goats you would want.
What space do I need to host an event?
We require you have a fenced in or enclosed space.
Some things to consider:
-
Fence needs to be tall enough the goats cannot jump over it. They are great climbers and escape artists and will find any weaknesses in the fence. It should be a minimum of 4-5ft.
-
We do have temporary fencing we can bring but we would need adequate help setting it up as usually there is only 2 of us (plus our instructor who is not part of setting up). There is also an additional $40 fee for this. We prefer to only use this if hosting for larger events.
-
Gaps between fence posts and bars should not be big enough for a small dog to fit through, otherwise they will too.
-
They love foliage! Please keep in mind that the goats don’t care how beautiful your landscaping is, they will try to eat it. It also can distract them from the class. Please keep this in mind and be aware of that or fence off any plants you don’t want nibbled on.
-
They do poop and pee. They are farm animals and not potty trained. We will bring supplies to help clean up after them but be aware that is a thing they do.
When can I have the event?

We will do our best to accommodate you but we ask that you give us at least 2 weeks out. It is best to schedule as far in advance as possible, especially during our busier summer months. We can work with you to determine a day and time that works for all of us.

How far can you travel?
We prefer to stay within 20 miles of our homestead located in northern Noblesville, Indiana. Traveling more than 45 minutes with the goats can be stressful for them. There is a $25 travel fee. Occasionally, we will travel further based on size of the event, which also may have a higher travel fee.
How much does it cost?
Cost varies based on several factors like type of event, number of people, location, and distance. Please contact us with more information about your event to get a quote.
We can negotiate cost and offer discounts to nonprofits and schools.
